I'll say it right now...everyone will like this better than I did. I'm just not into drunk tales, and I just don't understand people who spend their time living in the past. And by the time the "blanks" thing started up, I was too tired to care anymore. Also, I hated the ending.
So...enjoy it more than I did.

We're the Millers (2013)
Rated: R - Runtime: 110 min
tesg's Rating: Three stars (out of four)
Wow. This was really funny. Quite a bit raunchier than I was expecting too, but as solid a comedy as I've seen in some time.
Word of mouth has kept this movie flying at the box office. I can see why.

2 Guns (2013)
Rated: R - Runtime: 109 min
tesg's Rating: Two and one half stars (out of four)
HEY KIDS! Remember when you worked at a mediocre radio station that sometimes got to interview mediocre musicians and the one thing you were absolutely supposed to not screw up was to get them to cut a station promo? You know, the one that went something like "Hi this is so-and-so from Queensryche and you're rockin' with Classic 107."
Well, Regal Cinemas has brought this blatant form of prostitution to the big screen.
Prior to the roller coaster, we got Danny Trejo, in character as Machete, introducing the trailer for "Machete Kills". "See it at a Regal Cinema...OR I WILL FIND YOU!"
Then we got Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (NOT in character) encouraging you to see their new flick at a Regal before what was more like a First Look mini documentary about their movie.
Yeah. Okay.
Wahlberg and Washington are the reasons to see this movie. Bill Paxton isn't bad either. But they're in pretty pedestrian surroundings. Worth seeing, but it won't be in my home movie collection.
You might just wait to rent it.
